Environmentalism: Liberal Rebellion Against Death I believe the liberal’s twisted environmentalism is due to their own alienation from nature. It also stems from their spiritual helplessness. Extreme liberalism is rebellion against death, which is really rebellion against life as it is. Why do they become vegetarians? Not because they think it’s healthier—it’s to avoid the anxiety that comes from eating meat—acceptance of death. Why are they absurdly anti-war? Same reason.
